What is EVA foam boat decking?
It’s a closed-cell EVA foam flooring that bonds to your boat’s deck. It’s non-slip, comfortable underfoot, stays cooler than gelcoat in the sun, and resists UV and stains. We install MarineMat, a premium marine foam brand.
Do you come to my boat?
Yes. We’re a mobile service. We template and install at your dock, driveway or marina across the northern Outer Banks and the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill area.
Do you install boat foam flooring in Raleigh?
Yes. We’re a mobile service covering Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and nearby towns like Wake Forest, Cary and Apex. We template and install at your home, storage lot or marina, including boats kept on Falls Lake, Jordan Lake, Kerr Lake and Lake Gaston.
Is MarineMat the same as SeaDek?
They’re different brands of the same kind of product: premium closed-cell EVA foam decking. We install MarineMat, which offers the custom cuts, two-tone layers and textures boaters want. We’re happy to show you samples.
Can you replace my boat carpet with foam decking?
Yes. Foam is one of the most popular boat carpet replacements because it doesn’t hold water or grow mildew. Send us a few photos of your boat and we’ll quote the new deck.
How much does custom foam boat flooring cost?
It depends on your boat’s size, how much area you cover and the design. Most full-deck projects average $3,000 to $4,000. Smaller jobs like cooler or helm pads cost much less. Call or request a free quote for exact pricing.
Can you add my logo or boat name?
Yes. We cut logos, boat names, fish rulers and topo maps in-house on our CNC machine, and you approve a design proof before we cut.
Is foam decking slippery when wet?
No. EVA foam is designed for traction wet or dry, with or without shoes.
How do I clean it?
Rinse with fresh water and scrub with mild soap and a soft brush. Avoid harsh solvents and stiff brushes.
